RATES AND KIT HIRE FOR 2024
Corporate Productions
I charge the current 2024 BECTU recommended rate of £470 per 10 hour day plus travel expenses and accommodation if needed.
For basic sound equipment hire of recorder/mixer, boom mic, 2x true diversity radio mic channels and 1x In ear monitor for director is £230 per day. Additional radio mic channels are £30 each per day and timecode lokit boxes can be provided for your camera to ease syncing in post production for £15 per day each.
Mocap Volume Filming

Feature and Short Films
Please contact me for rates regarding feature film productions as BECTU rates vary depending on budget categories over £1 million. Also kit hire costs can vary greatly depending on what equipment you require on your production to acquire the best audio coverage for post production. It may seem obvious but a sound crew should have a Recordist/Production Sound Mixer and at least a First AS (boom op) and preferably a Second AS and trainee in the team to help the production run smoothly.
Commercials
Commercials for companies that air on TV or online media should be covered by current APA rates which are £594 per day plus kit hire and travel costs. Kit hire costs can really vary depending on what your production requires so please email or phone me for a quote tailored for your shoot.
